Wow, great capture, Matt!!! Really excellent! I LOVE that you've captured the coin as a still object, though perhaps a twist in the dimension of its travel might be more convincing of its motion. Not sure how you set that one up, though. The high contrast is wonderful, and really works with the subject!
I love this image; I do wonder that if you had shown more space on the left hand side you it would be even stronger. ( I have tried to do this for you as an idea – have a look in my portfolio)
like the b&w, cut off coin and hand blend to made an interesting composition, shadow and light play well against each other. Bright spots on far right of hand may be a bit too bright as my eye is drawn to this unimportant part of your shot because of the light. Border works well. One of my favorites this challenge
The composition and lighting are very powerful in enhancing the subject matter. They give the image a sense of importance as though the decision at hand is quite compelling.
Not exactly original, but absolutely outstanding light quality, focus and composition. One of my ribbon picks. *sniff, sniff* ...smells like smokeditor. (9)
Yet another flipped coin, but this photo has the edge of the very classy lighting. Awesome contrast between the VERY underexposed areas (by design, I know) and the great detail in the lit parts.
