Yeah... the shovel that I found in our barn was... well... the shovel wasn't at all "purdy". It was covered in cement. It glowed like... a moon in the sky when I photographed it (in natural light, of course). Yet...
I put it there. The cement.
I put it there... The shovel there. The cement on it as I labored to put it there and complete my job.
I sometimes wonder at my life.
And every time I wonder... I am reminded of what a wonderful life I lead!
Life is good... even when it's not.
I am thankful to have been raised by a man who taught me to build stuff... who showed me how to do stuff that girls weren't usually shown (in my era). My daddy taught me to build stuff... and... to hug stuff.
My mom... she's still teaching me stuff.
She first taught me to work hard (by her example.. every day)... then she taught me to bless others by sewing and doing for others... as she did for me. I can't remember how many outfits she sewed for me and for others.
I am amazed at her giving.
I wish I would give as she does. *sigh*
Read that again. I said "would"... not "could". *sigh again*
Read it another time, please.
I am so blessed by their teaching.
I hope I will have taught... enough... given enough... in return... when I leave Earth.
