The one thing that does not make this look realistic is the background. Not sure why you didn't photograph the flower in its natural setting outside. Apart from that it's a really good idea.

You drew me in with the purple flower but sold it with the details. Love the tongue sticking out for concentration. Nicely done. My favorite in this challenge.
