This photograph of Stonehenge was taken at the Equinox. I only know this because I asked a long bearded gentleman, who was one of many wandering around in flowing robes, if it was a special day.
Whilst I was really pleased with the general idea, I realised when I got home that I had made a schoolgirl error with my new camera - I hadn't realised it was set to 'Auto-ISO'. OK, well, actually, I didn't even know it HAD Auto-ISO. I should've guessed from one of the comments on a recent entry. Anyway, any plans to revisit and reshoot at dawn have been scuppered by grey mizzly skies. Being honest, I was glad of the excuse not to have to wake up before the sun again!
It was also St Patrick's day. No real relevance except that I'm of Irish descent so felt I should mention it. Slainthe!
Thank you for all the lovely comments!
