Jason had a business dinner to attend, and Carly was in bed by 7pm, so instead of making dinner, cleaning the living room of toys, and washing bottles for the next day, I decided I wanted to participate in this one! :)
I had been looking at her work for the last week trying to make sense of it. I noticed the self portraits immediately and was most drawn to those. After looking through as many as I could find...to me it seemed like Cindy was going for an archetypal look at women stereotypes. I saw the overly tanned, track-suit wearing ex-beauty queen, the crazy cat lady, the white, privelaged PTA mom, and the granola-loving hippie who hasn't worn a bra in 20 years, among some others. I thought they were interesting...not necessarily beautiful, but interesting. As far as my interpretation, I was limited on time and prop gathering since I started this only 3 hours before the deadline, but I knew I had a ton of makeup to work with and some wigs...so I came up with what I think would be washed-up party girl. Maybe? Haha! I kept struggling with it because making myself look OLDER is not something I love to do.
Thanks for the comments and votes! :)

wish that there was just the slightest trail of smoke either from the mouth or from the ciggy, and lipstick on the filter...I have a hard time buying this without details like that.
Trust me I wanted to!! :) I couldn't do it under the advanced editing ruleset though. I would have had to draw it in...and we all know how much people hate me drawing things in. ;)
I don't smoke so it was a fake cig, haha!
An incense stick hidden behind the fake cig - or even taped to it - would have added some smoke without it being cigarette smoke (I hate it too). Anyhow just my .002 cents worth as usual :-)
She is doing well! She is 8 months, today actually. It's crazy how fast the time goes. She is such a happy little thing. We got very lucky. :)
In a crazy turn of events....and something you may have seen already.....we are expecting a second one in August! Definitely was not our plan, but nature decided it had it's own plans for us! :)
