My daughter behind a textured glass door. Hardly using my camera anymore but took this picture on a recent vacation and it seemed to match the challenge. Not expecting a great result, too much noise and with the slow shutter speed not sharp enough.

reality is torn apart to make it abstract, as though we are looking at a layer of reality beneath a layer of abstraction. in this way, it's like a metaphor for human vision, the way we layer concepts onto everything we see. I like the smile to counterbalance the violence of the broken image.
