The picture is not very interesting, even as abstract.

close-up framing, emphasizing symmetry, forces us to see abstractly. what keeps my interest is the asymmetry of color and backgrounds. a smart combination of symmetry and asymmetry can create a very interesting image while still being completely abstract.

I would have said a deformed fruit of some sort. This has potential with the multicolors and different backgrounds for the two halves. Perhaps I'd like it more with different processing or something. Best of luck in the challenge!
