Was out doing a trial run with a newly acquired Minolta 100-300 lens. Pleased with the sharpness of it. This is a crop - photo taken at 300mm. No sharpening done in post outside of Bicubic on resize.
I liked the bare branches and the texture of the tree bark. Converting to B&W/Sepia was the first thing considered. For me, the horse is an added element with the 'Wood' being the primary.
