Very interesting treatment. Almost creepy, which when I read the title I suspect wasn't what you were going for. Perhaps it's because the child reminded me immediately of this lifesized doll we had in the house growing up, "Baby John", that my Mom would dress up rather bizarrely and place around the house. Art is supposed to evoke a reaction and yours certainly did.
