The "texture" has become a new background, more of a feature than a texture. The image has become a composite image, with no trace of the original BG remaining.

I wondered if my texture overlay might be "too much" although the original BG was nothing more than a plain green wall. Lesson learned, but all the comments and votes are appreciated. Thank you, everyone!
