Thank you everyone.

I think that cropping could benefit this, depending on what you were going for. I was trying to make the flower seem small, even if there was really nothing to compare to.

I would have loved to get closer to this interesting...thing, but with my current camera set-up, this was about as close as I could get. Maybe I should buy a close up lens ;)

This image is really begging for cropping, a bit on the right, roughly the same on the left, and lots from the top. Right now the eyes seem more drawn to the big white blob than the flower, at first sight.

Perhaps there is a bit too little depth of field - it would be nice to see the stem in focus too. The frontmost petal isn't as important, IMHO.

Otherwise, good job on the detail and exposure!

What a bizarre flower. Never seen one that looked quite so hairy before!!! Stem yes, flower no.
