OK everyone agrees that all cat pictures automatically score 10. This is a pleasant informal homey moment. With cuddly family appeal. Technically it is a good image in terms of DOF, exposure, interesting composition, etc. The rug texture gives it a cozy feel. As a minor point I would like to see all of the cat's tail. As it sort of looks like a pussy lollipop from this angle. Perhaps it is worth considering something like a human portrait. It's a choice between the whole anchilada, the midriff and up or a mugshot in general. The chioce of just a few colors helps to tie your picture together though. An honorable effort capturing a lovely moment. |
