So glad we went here, this was the most grandiose house I've ever seen. Well worth the admission fee and then some! This was built by the famous Vanderbilt family, this was just one of their summer cottages, WOW talk about flamboyant, this had it all!!
Shame we couldn't catch up with Robert in Cape Cod, of all weeks we decided to visit, he was away :(
We truly loved Rhode Island, such a wonderful place full of history, and beautiful scenery, and not to mention gorgeous houses.
