Coming back to comment and bump up. Love the complimentary colors of the bright blue wall and the orange clothing of the monk. I think a closer crop would give this image and even stronger impact. Cropping out the tree tops and the black utility post on the far right would keep the eye more strongly focused on the two main elements of this shot. It is a beautifully minimalist shot showing regular life on this street. It is also colorful and unique in that typically it is not every day around the world one sees a Buddhist monk walking down a city street. It is just me but I always look to the title as an opportunity to tell more or add to the story so I must admit I was surprised to find that there was no complimentary title.
IMHO a closer crop from the top (remove the green foliage), and no pillar on the right would have made this a really powerful shot, especially with the orange and blues working together. Nicely seen!
It was his first time home in the 3 years since his family sent him there. He wondered what would be different, he wondered how he would feel when he sees her.
