i painted a rose on a birdbath stand, put a gourd on it, and made it argue with a wild cucumber. the gourd is winning the argument, as you can tell by the fading cucumber leaves. and the tears of regret like blood shed by thorns.

I think the lack of overall contrast and filmy feel was what made me dismiss this quickly but it definitely deserves more than a second or third look. What a sensitive surreal.
