Somehow manages to be sharp but feels soft, very pretty! I like the flares, too.

I agree with Neat. This shows the golden colors and I would have scored it much higher than the B&W version.

I think the fact that the challenge is called the Golden hour shows that you possibly should enter a colour photo in my humble opinion! This one is much better than the black and white.
