Well I didn't expect the leaves to curl up overnight otherwise I would have painted both sides. Unfortunately I did not have the time to redo this so I thought I may as well enter something than nothing - I really should learn my lesson and not be so foolish.

Well looks like I should not have been so worried as you voters didn't seem to mind the unpainted elements of the leaves as much as I did. So thank you for all the kind votes and fabulous comments.

Congrats on another blue, Paul. I really like the effect of the curling in the leaves and the glimpses of the unpainted sides.

Well done. Love the abstract element. I also like the texture the overnight drying created. Sometimes you never know!

I submit that had the leaves been nice and flat, it would not have had the same appeal. well done.

Not bad for a rather something than nothing. And with only a slightly higher score than the runner-up. ;-) Congrats on the Blue, Paul

Oh yeah! You did this really well!

I wanted to do it when I saw it on Google images... but couldn't find the leaves for it.

Well done!

I really like how you've created the flag, but I'm not terribly fond of that mint green on the undersides of the leaves.

That is really quite clever. Did you paint them? I see some green that looks like where paint missed.
