I think this is a good photo. It illicits thought at the very least. Article19's comments are pretty shallow. Perhaps he/she doesn't want to know that this sort of thing actually goes on in today's world but many women are subservient to men for a variety of reasons. Either sexually or socially or both. Is this good? Should we promote it? Personally I don't think so. But exposing the reality of it is a good thing, if nothing else it makes people think. I didn't see it as pornographic but rather as thought provoking.
i think it is a great pictue. i am no expert but maybe the female subject should have been barefoot too i don't really see this as pornography. great lighting too.
I just ran across this photo and the comments that you received for it. I am no expert by any means, but this is a very captivating and AWESOME photo. This is one that will stay in my mind and that's what makes a great photographer. Keep it up!
i've been PM'ed by this 'photographer' who wanted more detail on why I think this picture sucks, since this is a forum then more detail he got. My comment stands, the picture still sucks and you can go back to the beach "dude!" surfs up!

dude, you're being a dick. If you don't like it, fine. But accept that there are other viewpoints out there that are different from yours and that doesn't make them wrong.
i said it then and I say it now that this is a god awful image, it is misogynistic, cliched, trite and a million other words to cream it that I can think of. The ranking of this image has seriously dented my confidence in the folks who vote on these challenges. How the hell can anyone, any one who is right minded, give this a 10?
This is nothing personal against the photographer, shoot what you want, but come on guys!
I really like everything about this picture except the lighting. It's the hardest part of studio photography and something I wish I had a better grasp of doing myself. In this shot the lighting is too harsh, mainly on the man, but in just a few spots on the woman. This may be doubled by the shine - although I think that's a fantastic addition to this type of pose.
His right foot (the one arched up) almost looks unnatural and deliberate.
Very nice studio work with these 2 though, they make great models!
This is realy different, I realy realy realy like the composition and the b/w conversion (teach me :)
It only looks like there are a lot of hotspots, part of his body look blown out, but still a realy great pic.
