This is a really stunning still life. Composition is perfect no need for the second feather though in the background, though still up there with one of the better ones.

I read Umberto Eco many years ago. You've quoted the last line of the book and filled your photo with further mystery. Exceptionally processed and appropriately feathered. Kudos.
