Very cool. Love how the title helps tell the story, but it's an interesting abstract on its own. Only comment is that the upper left corner (the sun, I assume) is still a tiny bit too bright given the balance of tonality in the rest of the image. And there's a tiny dark speck in the purplish band on one of the pier supports.
This is among my top picks for the challenge. I tend to be drawn to this kind of abstract in any case, but here the initial impact of the colors and the implied movement is great. Hope it does well. Here's some bling in appreciation:
Just a really amazing image, if you scroll it up and down it has a 3D effect to it, the forrest is moving, just don't know why you called it the Pier though, still a very nice photo.
