This is not A BUILDING. Never the less it is my favorite photograph in the challenge, but I wonder how often it will get knocked for my first point. the light and the editing are just lovely, well seen.
Stunning! The brooding malevolence of the sky - just fabulous. Whether it meets the "abandoned building" specification... Well, I don't care; This shot is riveting.
Seems more of a structure than a building, but still it's a lovely image. The beautiful detailed, glowing, rusting metal stands in strong counterpoint to the grim atmosphere. The scene through the opening on the left is charming.
