Nice shot -- I like the idea of the implied lines of the screws in the drywall -- very original. Looks like you missed the wood a few times ;-) Been there done that. -- very nice.
Yeah...pretty artistic peace :) and fits in subject aswell. Also think it should look great in BW aswell.
Just one improvment...i think i would cut the top one step lower.
The child isn't in focus. Additionally, the composition doesn't work. The large amount of negative space pulls the audience's attention AWAY not towards the center of interest.
This is very nice, for a second I thought the stairway had no support in the middle due to the uniformity of the walls. The lines created by the drywalls (in addition to the straight line on the bottom of the stairway) are a very nice touch. Good idea putting in a cute kid. Nice composition, though I think it might need some more contrast... but that's just me. Well done!
