Magnificent strata! This looks like the gigapixel image posted a few days ago. I especially like the underwater-like lighting towards the background.

Image : there are lots of real lines here too but the implied lines are also very strong in the mountain ridges, crests and peaks. I love this shot as a standalone image. It's a stunning scene which begs the wquestion: would it look good shot by most people, much the same as the Grand Canyon? I actually think you've chosen a great view with some nice foreground so I suspect that this is out of the ordinary. : )
