Challenge: Free Study 2015-04 (Advanced Editing VII)
Collection: Portfolio
Camera: Nikon D810
Lens: Lensbaby Sweet 35 Optic
Location: Coarsegold, CA
Date: Apr 22, 2015
Aperture: 2.5
ISO: 125
Shutter: 1/1250
Date Uploaded: Apr 27, 2015

Colors adjusted globally with the yellow filter and the usual brightness, shadows and highlights, high bypass filter used as a layer for sharpness, crop and size, add border.

Athena is 8 1/2 and getting grey like me. Since many people have a soft spot for dogs, I predict 5.3. I like the effect of the Lensbaby.

Pulling focus did not look quite natural to me.

The blurring vignetting is a bit distracting in my eyes, but otherwise nice shot!

not sure how much motion or radial blur or whatever adds to this static subject which seems to be a nice sharp picture of a dog in a field.

Beautiful dog! Lovely focus. The blurred parts don't seem natural enough for me to love this.
