A Carolina Anole (Anolis Carolinensis and commonly known as a Green Anole) is watching me watching him in Humble, Texas, USA.
Shooting: My plan for this challenge was to shoot a macro with beautiful bokeh. So I grabbed my macro and headed out. Found these lizards in the front yard that were active and the macro did not have enough reach (they did not like me getting close). So I got my wildlife lens for more reach. Was my first time using this lens for close-up photography and needless to say I am so impressed with it. As soon as I saw the super narrow DOF in this shot and the beautiful bokeh I knew I had the shot for the challenge.
Post: I did not realize what the editing rules were. I always do some work around the eyes in wildlife photography to make sure they draw the attention. Was not happy with the rule set but messed with many many sliders in LR and got something that I could live with, you are seeing it here. The other problem (which I am sure I will see a comment about) was the leaves in the right bottom corner that were in focus. I found them distracting and in my "Real Edit" I blurred them out.
Here is my "Real Edit"

I really thought this would do better and be at 6.1+
