Taken during the solar eclipse in Iceland 20th of March 2015. Had these kinds of shots in mind and scouted some places few days earlier. Ended up getting what I was looking for and luck got me even further...
Disqualification Details
Your submission must be taken after the challenge is announced and before the deadline, based on the Current Server Time (US Eastern Standard Time) displayed at the bottom of every page on this site. Thanks for all the nice comments and thoughts, really appreciate them!
The camera was set on the right date but a wrong year... the solar eclipse it self is not proof enough and of course the same rules apply to everyone.
It's a good reminder to check your dates when entering DPC challenges ;)
Thanks for the uplifting spirits, keep on rocking!
I really liked this one better, but its a shame you didn't learn your lesson about the date since your Fs entry has 2014 on it also :(
How on earth was he supposed to learn that lesson in a timely manner? He obviously didn't realise the error until after submitting both images into challenges.
. I'm sorry I thought he got the first DQ ahead of his submission to the FS, in which he may of had time to withdraw it but obviously he didn't, shame.
