Shame they didn't appreciate the wonders you achieve with that wonderful camera, right? They should be educated by your Facebook images before dismissing!

Interesting choice of subject. Not being a camera per se is not why this image doesn't work for me. I actually think that it's quite an original idea and meets the challenge well. It's the combination of the exposure, the distorted base of the lamp and the processing.
