Challenge: The Orton Effect (Advanced Editing VII)
Date: Feb 27, 2015
Aperture: 7.1
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/250
Date Uploaded: Mar 4, 2015

Oh, my goodness, there are some wretchedly unsightly obstacles in the frame of this image, but there was nothing I could do change them. Then, Skippy the Sparrow slipped in...

Applying the Orton Effect helped brighten this almost desperate scene as these birds urgently prepared to hunker down for the storm.

One of my favorites of the challenge; I especially like how you cropped which enhances the scene. Never got around to commenting during voting.
