Got my first ribbon ever in the original dappled light challenge, so even though I've been dropping the ball lately on participating I made myself go out and shoot for this one when I saw it roll around again.
This is a bend in a trail through a redwood grove about a half hour from my house, that I had been to a few weeks ago and knew I would come back to shoot. Why not now, in a forest, sure to be a bit dapply, I was glad to see when I got there that, despite our drought and lack of recent rain, the water was still running this week.

Was sitting around and above 6.5 for most of the week and I thought I might squeeze an HM another ribbon out of this, but its been dropping steadily over the final 48 hours of the vote. I'm guessing some of you decided it just wasn't dapply enough!
