It's somewhat amazing that I was able to produce this photo because the day I went to Haleakala it rained nearly sideways nonstop for three hours before the skies cleared for 2 minutes and 9 seconds, long enough to get a small group of photographs before the clouds rolled over the top and the rain began again.
