i think this would work a lot better if the camera didn't feel tilted to the left and you caught more of the ground below the overpasses. it's a great angle on this interchange, though!
Good Idea, but if you're going to take time to enter this competition, at least take the time to either get out of the car, or alternatively, just roll down the window. The reflection ruins the shot. Could have been framed better too.
It is difficult to get a really good picture from a moving car and this one is somewhat spoiled by the reflections in the windshield. I like the off kilter horizon, it creates imbalance. The composition could be improved simply by cropping the top 53 pixels off to fit the 427 x 640 catagory. The result of that would be to draw the eye into look at the intersecting ramps.
Is that through the window of your car? I can see some glare in this image. Would have been cooler if you could actually have stopped somewhere and gotten closer to fill the image with highways.
Which way to go - help! I think a slightly lower angle would've helped, it would've created less sky and put more of the maze that's almost lost at the bottom of the picture into focus.
I would have cropped tighter on the lower centre of the shot, where the most crossovers are, plus this would help hide that the shot was taken on the move (eg the banding in the lower right).
