I do like the bokeh but my vote and guess are 6.0Message edited by author 2015-02-09 05:10:44.

Strong shadows but you worked this well. CLose... I think a 6.2
Post actions
nice light and focus. You will prolly get your 6.4.
Post actions
Colors, light, expression, detail are all great. Gave this beautiful creature a seven. I think maybe your guess is pretty accurate. 6.3
Post actions
This will get a 6.1, I think.

I'm not sure about this. DPC might not like the softness, but they might like the glow. I doubt it will reach your guess, though. Some voters will notice that the sharpest focus is on the foreground instead of the subject. They hate that! The main thing I like about this is the subtle composition, but DPC won't like that. This is a four from me and from DPC a 5.87

He seems a bit bored. I like the composition for the most part. Seems like too much blue in the shadows, and a bit on the too soft side. 5.8

Perfect shot

This is among a relatively small number of images that I think will score well. 6.3

Adorable. Like the muted colors. 6.2
Post actions
I gave it a eight. Guessing a 6.678.

Nice eye contact, involving out of focus area - I voted a flat six but I think you'll get a bit more than that from the rest of the DPC crowd. 6.45
Post actions
What a beauty, nice lit by the sun! 6.357

Gorgeous animal nicely managed in difficult light. I agree with the 6.4.
Post actions
good looking guy. 6.1237 would be my guess.

very nice motif - I have the impression, that sharpness is best on the rock in the foreground - 6 from me and I predict 6.1

You've under rated this by a bit, it has awesome lighting ,sharp focus, properly lit eyes, great colour, the only big draw back is the voters on this site for an animal in an open format challenge, but a 7.2 very least and I will give it an eight, with more cropped off the right side I would have given a higher score. this would have cut down the darker negative space and off set the head just a little more. I hope this does well for you Good Luck
Post actions
Yep, good one. I agree with your 6.40
Post actions
Wow, great lighting and detail on this image I agree it should score around 6.4, but personally I gave it an 8! Love it!
Post actions
Dreamy/dreaming. Nice light on the face. Probably a zoo shot, so your guess may be high since this isn't a zoo challenge. 6.25
Post actions
It's a beautiful animal and nice light but the bar is high unless there's a challenge it meets to a T. I guess 5.9
Post actions
Those eyes really pull you in. Nicely done 6

With some more careful processing, I would guess 6.4. My estimate however is 5.98. I could be totally off too.

lovely image. I think this will hit 6.8

pretty. and a good score guess I reckon. Might do better with a tighter crop on the face. predict 6.35

I voted before looking at titles, now commenting.

Beautiful! The eyes are mesmerizing. One of my ribbon choices, so I hope you find your score is well above your estimate. I have given you ten. My prediction for your average is 7.759
Post actions
6.521 (I gave it an eight)

I like it. I like the stare. I like the prediction. 6.49
Post actions
Seems like the focus is in front of the face/eyes. The bokeh is nice. I predict 5.3.
Post actions
I gave this a 7, adorable
Post actions
Great composition and lighting. I estimate a final score of 6.5

Post actions
You could be about right, great contact with the photographer, in a lazy sort of way, gave you a 7.
Post actions
He/she is gorgeous and whatever processing you've done to make it soft yet sharp at the same time is wonderful. I find the blues in the bg and green in the fg to be competing a little with the animal, but still think this will ribbon. 6.78
Post actions
very good wild life shot he looks relaxed about every thing, 6.127
Post actions
Hello, I voted a few days ago, now returning for comments. I think that you estimated your score very close, this is one of my top five in this Challenge and I gave you a nine. I predict that you will finish at 6.755 and it should be a ribbon contender.

Nice shot and beautiful bokeh. The face of the animal looks somehow "flat". It misses some depth. A 6.4 is maybe too high. I guess it will be closer to a 5.8
Post actions
Nice but the top left takes away from the subject a bit. 6
Post actions
Nice image I like the crispness but for some reason the bokeh doesn't do it for me. Sorry I'm in just under your guess.
Post actions
Very nice. Good shot. for me 7
Post actions
6 The components of the image are all beautifully presented. My quibble, what depresses my score, is that the cat's pose doesn't move me. It could almost be a seal lying on the beach. The direct gaze, however, is strong.
