Good framing with the light. I feel that less shadow detail on the two men, particularly on the gentleman on the left, would have made for a quite interesting and mysterious image. But then, that image might have nothign to do with what you wanted to portrait.
Are they waiting for the ice to melt, so they can safely return to their homes? This image, to me, conveys their dissatisfaction with their predicament very well.
