Thank you all for the wonderful comments. Knowing that some of you really like it and found the beauty is worth a lot. This was taken somewhere in Kentucky from the car on our trip home after spending Christmas in Indiana. It was a very foggy morning and I just aimed the camera and shot a few images. I did not know what I had until I returned home and went through the images. Very little crop. I did add a texture layer at a low opacity to bring some dimension to the fog and bring out some of the colors.

The overall delicacy and subtly of colors are, to use a word that shouts amid such serenity, glorious. I suddenly feel imprisoned within my apartment. That the sky, at about half the image, suitably balances the forest is most impressive. One of two personal favorites.
