I'm so incredibly proud of the comments on this image. The score doesn't matter, I knew it was not an easy image but if several of you got it, well, it worked.
Unfortunately my youngest son Matteo is now in hospital... I really hope to have him back home soon.

As close as it gets to purity of emotion. A split second expression and juxtaposition that creates the use of an artistic paradox; what was, what you made it and my subjective experience upon seeing it.
Not the cliched cutesy baby picture, but the raw emotion that the very young can express -- distress, fear, where's Mom? A sub-theme of folds and creases that's quite harmonious. The beautifully clear right eye. The scratch on the nose. A personal second favorite. All the best for you.
