I just noticed two things:
- This is my 30th challenge submission :-)
- The resize made a mess of the image :-(

We were watching the New Year's EPL game between Southampton and Arsenal when my wife suggested an alternative caption to the image.

"Arsène Wenger makes sandwiches for his footballers at halftime" :-)

BTW, the man on the picture is my wife's uncle and he is making sandwiches for our son.

I like this image because of the lighting and shadows, the intense concentration evident in his face, the obvious "candid" nature of the photograph, and the framing with the dark curtain on the left balanced by the dark item on the wall behind him (chalkboard?).
