The challenge theme doesn't really come through for me. I don't understand what's going on in the "before" photo or what is happening as a result in the "after" photo.

Good use of tension-incurring crop, with odd shapes and funky processing thrown in for good measure. I don't quite grasp the concept but it's visually good and very interesting.
