What is more simple than a piece of bent metal that holds together pieces of paper? Nearly nothing. Such an elegant design that consistently works, and doesn't need instructions.
I also went simple with the shooting. I used my compact camera, and only had light from a nearby lamp. I set the camera to have high saturation, sharpness, and contrast. This helped the image get a bit of pop.
