Lady bugs everywhere! Every year, during the potato harvest, we see a lot of lady bugs everywhere because they have nowhere to go.
I shot this inside in my basement with 2 flashes fired by the ST-E2. Used a blue cardboard background and a yellow container. I wanted to use the primary colors.
Cropped a bit, and cloned out some distracting dust.
Sigma 105mm F2.8 macro.

Great eye in capturing this stunning shot.
The lighting and tone are superb! One of my favorites in this challenge, added to my favorites and well deserving of a 10!
Well Done!
Hey...
Nice colors here and good deatil. A couple of problems that I notice witht the image are "jaggies" that are appearing throughout the image. I am not sure if this is done by oversharpening, resampling, or cloning but they are unnatural. Also, it is slightly conspicuous that there was cloning done to the left side of the ladybug on the yellow but great macro with an interesting subject.
Fabulous use of primary colors, leading lines, rule of thirds... you just covered all your bases, didn't you! Technically and compositionally a great shot! Bumping you to an 8.
