A subtle beauty that finished much higher in my list. Perhaps it was too subtle for hurried voters that didn't linger quite long enough to appreciate it.
Elegantly done. Very soft and feathery processing. Can't make up my mind if the embroidery adds or subtracts from the shot? Nonetheless, one of my top scores!
It's a cool concept, and the subtlety of the way the face is visible is nice, but I think I would have preferred a smooth cloth or possibly having the embroidered side where the shadow is.
