Taken of the Nelson Building in Washington's Crossing PA... not sure what the function of this very old building was but thought the small window washed by the sun and shadows was interesting.
Cropped, adjusted levels, boosted the yellow saturation, saved for the web.

I really like your photo and the play of shadows, although, remove the title and I wouldn't even know your shot was related to the challenge.
My 1st consideration when judging a photo is how closely it relates to the
challenge topic, next originality and photo technique & quality are equally
judged.
I think this is a great shot - good colour and focus, interesting shadows, nice exposure in tricky lighitng - however without the title it is just a building with a window; ie. the picture doesn't say education to me.
Beautiful! I like the way the larger structure is implied by the geometric shadow. Lovely texture and colors. I'll believe its a schoolhouse because you say so. Might have cropped a little off the left, but that's just a minor quibble.
