Mini-get-together with Mae, Ben, and Brian at Manhattan Beach. Nice to get the camera out and grab a few snapshots. Had one or two shots I really quite enjoyed, and this would be one of those. Hope you enjoy it as well!

I am absolutely delighted with the reception for this! Thrilled! It's stuff like this that tickles my fancy, that makes me enjoy getting out with my camera. Totally random "snapshots" if you will, that happen to work. And it's all the better when others enjoy it, too.
I love my thumb! I love the comments from all of you! I love that someone enjoyed the comma!! I'm delighted with the favs from photographers I sincerely admire.
Thanks, all, for making this a most enjoyable Free Study!

There is a huge amount i like about this photograph. The colour and texture of the tiles, the shadow of the woman walking away and most of all the figure having a shower wrought headless and almost abstract by his posture. Best in show for me. 10.
This is an uncommonly good and uncommonly interesting photograph for DPC.
By that I mean that nearly everyone here is an admirer of unequivocal photography, and wants to produce nothing more – and certainly nothing less – than that themselves: The kind of stuff that really impresses the family and friends.
But not so many are brave enough, nor curious enough, to produce the slightly discordant stuff that sows doubt and confusion, including in themselves. Photographs like this fabulously insurrectionist picture, that resists immediate resolution and ferments restlessness of the imagination.
It's a world-class photograph. Your score is therefore 10.95 and your burden is this Order of the Thumb. Thank you.
