This is Château de Chillon on Lake Geneva. We were there about 2 hours before sunset so I used the 3 stop built-in ND on the X100s + a 10 stop screw-on. We just had 3 bright sunny days along the French side of the lake and I was quite glad the sky was moodier when we got there.
LR: straightened horizon, added grad filter to sky then dodged & burned a little to bring out the castle and rock.
Color FX: Tonal adjust & detail filters
LR: Cropped, sharpened adjusted contrast & exposure
PS5: Cloned out a few tourists on the dock & blue umbrella
LR: Adjusted Luminance & noise, healed some dust spots and exported resized.

Which direction are you facing in this photo? And is it easily accessible from the other (opposite) side? I'll have a full moon when I'm there so I was wondering if I could catch it raising from the east? Or where I would have to be for the best photo of the moon...thanks
I remember Chateau de Chillon so well! We lived in Geneva in the late 50's, and I spent one summer at a summer camp up the cog railway from this place, in Montreux. Lovely image, great memories.
