I thought so, too. But that's because, despite your rendition of a cell phone, I hate photos of cell phones and will never rate them higher. (For some people it's babies, cats, and other things I like. For me, it's cell phones.)

LOL... can you hear me NOW?! Interesting idea. The OOF knife handle is OK, since it leads your eye to the "feature." The only thing that bugs me is that you've got a horizontally centered composition that isn't. I might have centered it more, turned it diagonally or moved it even more off-center so it looks intentional.
I couldn't figure out what this was at first--and I hate to have to think too hard ;>. Maybe a slight change of shooting angle would have made the knife stand out more.
