Photographer’s Notes I was shooting for the Landmark challenge and for a change had several entry-worthy photos. My next best was a well known Seattle landmark with an interesting history but would be largely unrecognized outside the US Pacific Northwest.
I wanted something folks would recognize but didn’t want the classic postcard shot from Kerry Park. I was hoping for something both recognizable and different. At the Seattle Center, there was a new sculpture so I shot upward through it to produce this (hopefully) whimsical view o the Space Needle – which is 50 years old this year – about as old as anything around here.
Have fun with this take on an iconic Seattle landmark.
