I like the gradient from dark blue on top to the bright colors surrounding the sun. I like the sense of depth the different layers of buildings provide, and the clouds.
The original was taken with an ND8 filter, and then in PP I played with exposure, contrast, clarity and vibrance in Lightroom.

I would agree with you that I also really like the gradient from the dark blue to the warm sun. This was a difficult challenge because so many images were very similar. I really like that you took the challenge into the city where so many of us live and created such an inviting piece.
I really feel like the clouds are the most important aspect of this piece and that it is possible that many voters took a quick glance and didn’t see the depth and length you were able to capture. Keep up the great work and I look forward to many more photographs from you.
Very little silhouette here, which is a nice change of pace from many entries i've seen pop up so far (unsure total how many because i didn't do a thumbnail view before starting on the images)
I appreciate the scenery here with the emphasis on the sky above the city and the fun shapes in the clouds, while also not overcooking the image.
i'm giving this a 7
Interesting and detailed silhouette. I really like all the cranes and different roof heights. And those windows on the bottom right are great too! I would be happy with just those interesting bits, but the sky was kind and gave you some crazy wispy-ness as a bonus. Nice job.
