Photographer’s Notes I got completely distracted trying to capture motion using a 10 second exposure. Nothing I tried was very pleasing to me. So I shifted my thinking to taking a ‘good picture’ that happened to require a 10 second exposure.
My wife has a dark red orchid. In my dark room, not to be confused with my darkroom, I shot it from a number of points of view in very low light. While nice, the image didn’t ‘pop.’ I did a black & white conversion and applied a few other Photoshop tricks. This is starting to look lke something I might want to linger over.
Hope you like it.

I didn't get to comment on this before rollover and I would've never imagined you'd score so low with such a beautiful image.... In hindsight, I can see how voters would've been looking for something that "screamed" long-exposure, but personally I couldn't look away from this one; it was one of my favorites and (10's).
