Photographer’s Notes Twice a year, the Paramount Theater in Seattle puts on a month long Silent Movie series. The Paramount was built in 1928 and this week we saw “Feel My Pulse,” the film that was shown on the first night the Paramount opened in 1928. Fun.
I took this photo before we got rolling It shows the “Mighty Wurlitzer” theatre organ which was installed in the Paramount when it opened and has been lovingly restored and maintained. Oh, there’s a bench in the photo, just for the record.
So during the movie, Jim Riggs plays the organ in accompaniment to the movie.
Really Fun!!!
