Tough month for me. NOt a lot of time for personal shooting, most of it has been during trips to the local Farmer's Market or just some quick shots around the house.
But I did get an afternoon in which I was able to sit on the front porch for 45 minutes with a telephoto lens, waiting for birds to come near the feeder. In that time, I got 5 keeper shots, this being the best.
As I looked my photos for this contest, this one stood out due to the bright colors, good detail, and nice composition. I really like that the bird was on the same plane as the camera.
