 ...I like that word..."settle"...but not in the "I'll settle for that..." sort of way, but in the grounding yourself and letting the comfort soak in sort of way.

Mysterious and tender. There's an implied meaning here that I can't quite discern. Maybe having something to do with the bizarre life cycle of the cicada? Anyway, I like this very much.

Interesting and dark piece. I like the sharpening of the hand up to the fingers. (I find the fly disturbing, but this is a well done image.)
